Angela Batten is a successful local businesswoman who was born in Lee and lived in the area all her life.
She is very supportive of local businesses and fundraising for charities, such as Dementia and Cancer research.
Often people remark on her salon being a community Hub where people drop in for a coffee and chat.
Angela has traditional values whilst being aware of the modern pressures of life for families.
She is a mother and more recently a grandmother, and so in touch with the struggles of modern day living.
Angela has recently been appointed as a school Governor, which will help maintain an awareness of possible help and support needed in schools locally.
Angela has been very proactive in her salon in regards to training students along with an academy and employing in this area for over the last 20 years.
Before this was a manager of an elite salon in Alverstoke for 12 years.
Angela is keen to promote local groups and classes that she attends, such as Pilates and the new 'Start' course at St Faith's Church, as well as the dance fit class along with swimming.
