Having grown up in Gosport all his life and lived on the Cherque Farm Estate in Lee-on-the-Solent since 2019, he has always valued the true sense of home that this Borough has given him.
He spent his college years at Fareham College and CEMAST where in his 2nd year he was selected to be part of their student ambassador team. This team comprises students from all different areas of study where they act as liaisons between students and the college staff to voice what the students want to be changed or provided by the college.
They would also attend open days at both of the colleges to show the general public and secondary school leavers why the college was a great place to study and lead them around the campus showing the facilities that it has to offer.
He then left college to start an apprenticeship in the motor trade in September 2016 as a parts advisor since completing the apprenticeship he has gained experience in many manufacturers ranging from Ford, Kia, and Mazda to Jaguar and Land Rover has allowed him to talk and interact with customers from all walks of life. He is still working in this trade to this day.
Having grown up in a military family, having both Grandfathers being ex submariners it has led him to appreciate the rich naval history that Gosport has to offer ranging from the Submarine Museum to the historic waterfront and Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower.
He has always enjoyed the classic car culture having grown up helping his Grandad work on his Ford Cortina and now being part of the Solent Mini Club and owning a Classic Mini himself. The Gosport Rotary Vehicle Rally down Stokes Bay is one of his favourite car shows of the year to attend along with Solent Mini Club attending there too.
He has also been a member of a small Jujitsu club in Elson since 2019 and has trained at international seminars held in Harrogate. Martial arts have taught him to value self-confidence and that you can accomplish anything provided you put your mind to it.
He is young and enthusiastic and willing to learn and being a part of the council will allow him to explore a new avenue of life and maybe possibly inspire more of the younger community in Gosport to step up and get involved along the way.
