MP Caroline Dinenage joined the local RSPCA inspector on her rounds in Gosport on Friday.
As part of her commitment to animal welfare, the local MP spent a number of hours out and about in Gosport with RSPCA inspector Charlotte Eyden. Caroline learnt about the day-to-day work of the RSCPA and discussed the challenges that their inspectors face.
Speaking after the event, Caroline said:
"It was a huge privilege to join our local RSPCA inspector, Charlotte, on her rounds. I witnessed first-hand the importance of her work in upholding animal welfare in our community. It's a tough but vital job, and I'm immensely grateful for all the RSPCA does to protect animals in Gosport."
The visit is part of Caroline's long-standing commitment to animal welfare, in which she also serves as a Vice-President of the RSPCA.
