Local MP Caroline Dinenage continued her tour of local schools in the constituency by travelling to Crofton School earlier this week.
After taking in a brief tour of the site, Caroline met with pupil representatives from years 8 and 10 before participating in a lively Question and Answer session on subjects as diverse as the English Baccalaureate and what steps can be taken to improve the image of young people in the media. Pupils were also keen to quiz Caroline about her own experiences in Parliament so far.
Speaking afterwards, Caroline expressed how impressed she had been by the quality of debate in the meeting: “it’s always great to meet such smart, engaging young people who have such bright futures ahead of them. They are a credit to the school and to Stubbington.”
