Local MP Caroline Dinenage will host a charity reception in Westminster next week to celebrate the important contribution local volunteers make to the community in her Gosport Constituency.
Around 60 guests, representing a host of charities and organisations from across Gosport, Lee on the Solent, Stubbington & Hill Head have been invited to visit Parliament on Monday evening and attend a reception in their honour.
The event is organised and funded by Caroline as her way of conveying her sincere thanks for the hard work and commitment volunteers put in to make the Gosport Constituency such a strong and secure community. Caroline explained “Our local volunteers work tirelessly to provide much needed services across the area and are certainly a credit to society. This reception is a way of celebrating their achievements and thanking them for all the sacrifices that they make.”
The programme will start with a photograph session followed by drinks and canapés in the Jubilee Room and will finish with a tour of the House of Commons and House of Lords. Guests will be joined by Gosport’s very own ‘Town Cryer’ and entertained by musicians from St Vincent College.
