Local MP Caroline Dinenage has arranged for two of England Netball’s finest to pay a visit to Bridgemary College this Friday.
In her role as an ambassador for England Netball, Caroline is keen to help young people get back into organised sport, “Playing netball is a great way of keeping fit and showcasing the benefits of healthy living and I’m pleased to have arranged for some players to come and share their skills with the students at Bridgemary”.
Senior England players Sasha Corbin and Karen Atkinson will put students through their paces in what promises to be a lively training session designed to cover all areas of the game and catering to every skill-level.
With the onus on participation and promoting a healthy lifestyle, pupils will also get a chance to quiz their idols on what it takes to become a professional athlete.
The programme will also include an autograph and photograph session in what’s sure to be a most enjoyable event.
