The Friends of Crescent Gardens have won the coveted Green Flag for the 15th year!
Chairlady Elaine Martin welcomed the Mayor Kathleen Jones and Anglesey Councillors Philip Raffaelli and Alan Scard to the flag raising ceremony today.
After raising the flag, the Mayor thanked the Friends for all their hard work keeping the gardens in such a beautiful state and providing an oasis of quiet for locals and she congratulated them for their continued success in retaining the Green Flag.
The Friends are supported in their endeavours by GBC and Caroline Smith from Streetscene was there to share in their success.
Councillor Philip Raffaelli said:
"The Friends of Crescent Gardens are a tremendous group of volunteers and richly deserve the Green Flag yet again. It is great to see what can be achieved when the community and the Council work together."
