Under the Conservatives many improvements to Gosport have happened and at the same time your council tax has not changed. A few examples of what we have delivered include:-
· Improved sheltered accommodation for the elderly at Juniper Court, Bridgemary
· A new pontoon at Gosport Ferry
· More affordable housing at Alver Village
There are many more which we are currently working on including:-
· Enterprise Zone at Daedalus, creating jobs for local people
· The veterans village at Haslar
· New Gosport leisure park on the old Holbrook site
· Better provision for homeless families at Agnew House, Forton
· Improving the Alver Valley Country Park.
· Eclipse Bus Rapid Transit service
Gosport Conservatives will continue to deliver the best for Gosport including value for money services.
We can make things happen!

Gosport's Waterfront - planning in progress for future development
Daedalus - Working closely with our MP, National Enterprise Zone status has been achieved to ensure new local employment opportunities for Gosport people.
Bus Rapid Transit - £20 million won from the Government at no cost to Gosport council taxpayers to provide residents with fast access to and from Fareham and it’s railway station.
Rowner Renewal - Alver Village - Regeneration to vastly improve the living environment of this former dilapidated estate is well underway and there will be many more jobs created here too.
Haslar Development - Regeneration plans for the town waterfront are moving ahead that will bring new life and jobs to our town centre
New Gosport Leisure Park - All planning is complete and construction will be starting very soon as a legacy to the 2012 summer Olympics.
Alver Valley Country Park - Once this plan is implemented the park will see over £500,000 worth of improvements including the installation of access routes and boardwalks. Work has already begun with over 12,000 trees planted and the installation of a BMX track.
In these troubled economic times Gosport’s Conservative councillors are nevertheless working hard for the future of our town and its residents. With more than half the workforce having to find employment outside our borough, improving the local economy is our prime concern. Many plans in addition to those above are in place and being acted upon, such as the new Gosport pontoon, completion of the superb Alver Valley Country Park, continued regeneration in Priddy’s Hard Heritage Area, £5m re-alignment of Newgate Lane with new cycleway and traffic control measures to reduce congestion. There is a huge amount to do and, with everyone working together, prosperity in an improved environment can be achieved for us all. With your support we can make this happen
