Gomer Junior School during their visit to Parliament yesterday.
After enjoying a tour of Westminster, the thirty-two strong group took part in an interactive workshop exploring different aspects of Parliament's work. They then had an opportunity to grill their MP during a lively Q & A session.
Speaking after the event, Caroline said:
"It was fantastic to see some familiar faces from Gosport this morning. These trips provide a great insight into how the country is run and may even inspire some budding politicians! I've had some tough questions from students in the past and I expected no less from Gomer Junior School!"
The school's trip to Westminster was run by the Parliamentary Education Service, which facilitates educational trips on the history and role of Parliament. Caroline's support for the visit reflects her long-running involvement with local schools, which has seen her visit all 41 schools in the constituency since becoming an MP.
