Gosport MP, Caroline Dinenage today encouraged promising musicians and filmmakers in the Gosport area to take part in the annual Parliamentary artistic competitions, Rock the House and Film the House.
Rock The House was founded in support of the UK live music sector to raise the profile of intellectual property rights issues, and enjoys the support of rockstars like Alice Cooper. Film The House gives up and coming film producers, directors and scrip-writers the chance to showcase their work in the Houses of Parliament. Both competitions offer the opportunity for Gosport's creatives to have their work judged by the leading lights of music and film industry and entrants can win a wide range of prizes including festival slots, studio time, musical equipment, and even the chance to see their work premiered in London's West End.
