Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage will be taking the leap for MS this Friday.
The local MP will be jumping out of a plane in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She's taking part in the charity skydive to raise funds for the Society's work, and to increase awareness about the tragic prevalence of the condition.
Speaking before the jump, Caroline said:
"While I am terrified about the jump itself, I'm delighted to be able to do something to support the vital work of the MS Society. I've seen the life of a dear friend of mine turned upside-down by MS, and know that if anything's worth jumping out of a plane for, then it's to support the work of this brilliant charity."
The Multiple Sclerosis Society provides emotional, practical and financial support for the 100,000 people around the UK who are affected by MS.
