Gosport MP and Small Business Ambassador for the South, Caroline Dinenage, has joined forces with Karren Brady to launch the Conservative Small Business Campaign.
Caroline joined fellow Small Business Ambassadors at a meeting with Karren to discuss what more can be done to support small businesses in the run up to Small Business Saturday, which is taking place on the 7th December.
The group are calling on all small businesses to sign up to take part in the event, which encourages customers to shop locally and support small businesses in their communities.
Speaking in support of the campaign, Caroline said:
"Small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy and have the potential to create a long-term sustainable recovery both in Gosport and nationally.
The Small Business Campaign is vital to ensure that we continue to build a partnership with entrepreneurs & small business owners and I am delighted that Karren Brady has been appointed to help drive this important work forward."
Echoing Caroline's comments, Karren Brady said:
"In my new role, I am looking forward to listening to the needs of small businesses to make sure we make Britain the best place to start and grow a business, supporting those who work hard and want to get on. That is why I would encourage small businesses to join our campaign."
